Nicks said Green’s guitar playing had captivated her when she first heard Fleetwood Mac’s records and had helped make her eager to join the group. Green co-founded Fleetwood Mac with drummer Mick Fleetwood in 1967 and left in 1970; Nicks also expressed regret that she never had the chance to share a stage with him.
