Warhorse Studios says its next Kingdom Come game is planned for release in its next financial year, meaning it could arrive between April 2027 and March 2028 if development proceeds as intended. The announcement matters because it suggests a much shorter wait after Kingdom Come: Deliverance II than the seven-year gap between the series’ first two main releases.

The studio has described the project as a new open-world RPG, but has not confirmed its title, story, setting or whether it is a full third instalment. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in February 2025, while the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released in 2018; Warhorse is also developing a separate Middle-earth role-playing game.
