‘The Odyssey’ Screenplay Is Now Available to Buy Online
The complete screenplay for Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" is now available to preorder online, giving fans the chance to read the dialogue and scene descriptions behind the filmmaker's mythological epic. Published by Faber & Faber, the 240-page paperback is due for official release on 4 August, and has already topped Amazon's bestseller chart despite not yet being out. The publication continues a pattern for Nolan, whose scripts for previous films have also been released as standalone books.
"The Odyssey" stars Matt Damon as Odysseus alongside a large ensemble including Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya and Charlize Theron, and follows his journey home after the Trojan War. The film has performed strongly since release, taking $124.5 million domestically and $264.1 million worldwide over its opening weekend, alongside strong reviews (an "A" CinemaScore and 95% on Rotten Tomatoes).
