The oldest club in London making FA Cup history
Cray Wanderers, formed in 1860 and the oldest surviving club in London, have reached the FA Cup first round for the first time in their history. Their dramatic penalty shootout victory over Bedford Town ended 77 previous unsuccessful attempts and gives the seventh-tier side a landmark occasion.
Cray needed seven matches and 660 minutes across the qualifying rounds, with three replays. After a 2-2 draw in the replay, goalkeeper JJ Briggs saved two penalties before teenager Jakob Lowe secured a 4-3 shootout win. Cray, currently 18th in the Isthmian League Premier Division, will host League One second-placed Stockport County, live on BBC Two.

- Cray Wanderers reach the FA Cup first round for the first time.
