New reporting says Lauren LeFranc is in talks to produce a television series centred on Poison Ivy, expanding news about a project that had been on pause. LeFranc, showrunner and executive producer of *The Penguin*, would produce but not write the series.
No writers or cast are attached, and the series would go to HBO if picked up. It would be separate from Matt Reeves’ Batman universe. Poison Ivy is the alias of Dr Pamela Isley, who can control people with pheromones and command plants; the character has also appeared in *Harley Quinn*, *Batwoman* and *Gotham*.
