The Perfect Back to the Future Cast if It Were Made in 2026

The article imagines a 2026 cast for *Back to the Future*, while stressing that a remake is not planned. Original director Robert Zemeckis and writer-producer Bob Gale have veto power over new instalments, and the writer argues that keeping the franchise untouched helps avoid over-saturation.

The excerpt proposes Zoey Deutch as Jennifer, giving the often underused character more comic presence, and J.K. Simmons as Principal Strickland, whose authority suits the role. Cooper Hoffman is suggested for George McFly, drawing on his ability to play both confident and awkward characters. The supplied text ends partway through the discussion of George, so it does not include the article’s full set of casting choices.
