THE PINEAPPLE THIEF Announces New Studio Album ‘Far And Wide’, Shares Video For ‘New World Order’ Single
Progressive art-rock band The Pineapple Thief will release its new studio album, “Far And Wide”, on 9 October 2026 through InsideOut Music. The announcement is accompanied by the hard-hitting lead single “New World Order” and a video by longtime collaborator George Laycock, signalling a more direct, live-minded rock approach while retaining the band’s atmospheric and progressive style.
Frontman Bruce Soord said the group deliberately simplified arrangements to reflect its five-piece stage sound, while drummer Gavin Harrison highlighted the influence of imagining songs performed live. The album addresses social turmoil, moral courage and personal loss, building on themes from 2024’s “It Leads To This”; it will be issued digitally and on several physical formats, including a limited artbook edition with bonus material and surround-sound mixes.
