The Reytons have secured their second UK number-one album with their fourth record, A Love Letter to a Broken Town, overtaking R&B trio FLO in a closely contested week. The result reinforces the Yorkshire indie band’s strong independent following, with frontman Jonny Yerrell highlighting that the album reached the summit without mainstream radio play.

The band previously topped the chart in 2023 with What’s Rock and Roll? and reached number two in 2024 with Ballad of a Bystander. FLO’s Therapy at the Club entered at number five despite becoming their biggest opening week, while Michael Jackson, Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Grande occupied numbers two to four; Role Model debuted at number six.
