Brighton four-piece The Stanford Family Band have released their new EP "Go Again" in full, a follow-up to their previous record that the band describe as having "unfinished business." The release matters as a showcase of the band's melodic, sunshine-pop songwriting style, with Clash Magazine highlighting their knack for warm, harmonious hooks reminiscent of both McCartney-esque pop craft and the raw garage-rock energy of acts like Sharp Pins.

The EP was made with more evenly distributed songwriting contributions across the band, with Harry Hayes of Spotted Horses joining to help with writing and production. Tracks include opener "When Lonesome," alongside "Birthday" and "Nine Days Of Sun," spanning what the band call baroque, sunshine and power pop influences. The band say the aim was to give their previous EP a "companion on the shelves."
