Explained simply
A Navy SEAL is a member of the US Navy’s special operations force, trained for demanding military missions. Stories about service members returning to civilian life often explore how military experience affects family relationships and everyday challenges.
Bullying is repeated behaviour intended to hurt or intimidate someone, and it can affect a pupil’s confidence and wellbeing. Families and schools may respond with support, practical help and ways to build a young person’s skills.
The film is based on a book by Jocko Willink, a former Navy SEAL and author. Its story centres on a military uncle, his sister and her son, bringing together themes of family, school life and personal difficulties.
