‘The Watcher’ Season 2 Adds Madelaine Petsch, Evan Adams, Owen Painter & Quintessa Swindell

Madelaine Petsch, Evan Adams, Owen Painter and Quintessa Swindell have joined Netflix’s The Watcher for its second season as series regulars. Their casting brings new leads to the drama, which will reunite Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale and continue after a lengthy pause since its 2022 debut.

Production is due to begin this autumn in New York, with Margo Martindale and Isabel Gravitt also returning. The first season followed a family beset by ominous letters after moving into their dream home; the series is based on a New York Magazine article. If season two airs next year, The Watcher will have been away for nearly five years, after Monster, another Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan series, returned for three further instalments.
