The WoW Forever launch update tweaks controller support and about 100 other things
WoW Forever’s final pre-launch update introduces changes across every class and race and brings controller support to what the developers describe as a “complete functional state”. The update matters to players preparing for the full release, as the game says controllers will work across major gameplay and core interface features.
The beta saw more than eight million characters created. The patch also refreshes every class and fixes bugs, including an issue that made Huey Sunnydale’s legs fail to render; human death sounds have been adjusted too. The game is due to launch on 4 November at 3pm PST, or 11pm GMT.
In short
- Controller support covers major gameplay and interface features.
- Every class and race receives changes.
- More than eight million characters were created in beta.
