London-based artist Theodor Black has released ‘Theo’s Room’, the first single from his forthcoming EP, ‘Tailwind’, due in October. The track signals a new, more live-sounding direction, combining sparse guitar, eerie synthesisers and haunting vocals as it moves from acoustic reflection into a restless nocturnal mood.

‘Tailwind’ will contain six songs representing chapters from Black’s mid-to-late twenties, exploring joy, uncertainty and personal transformation. Its aviation-inspired title reflects forward momentum in both the music’s themes and Black’s development as an independent artist, following 2025’s ‘C’est La Vie!’ and 2024’s ‘Crash Out!’.
