Atari has agreed a partnership with Universal Pictures and Entertainment 360 that could turn ten of its classic games into films, including Pong, Breakout and Asteroids. Universal has the option to adapt Asteroids, Adventure, Berzerk, Breakout, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Millipede, Missile Command, Pong and Yars’ Revenge. One unspecified project is already in development, with Matt Reilly and Carl Hampe writing the script, but no release dates or further production details have been announced.
