Netflix has released a range of official merchandise tied to its Oscar-winning animated film KPop Demon Hunters, including a colour-changing mug themed around the tiger character Derpy. The mug appears plain black until hot liquid, such as coffee or tea, is poured in, at which point the heat gradually reveals an illustration of Derpy hidden in the design. It is part of a wider push by the streamer to capitalise on the film's popularity through licensed products available via Amazon.

The Derpy mug costs $22.95, holds 11 oz and is ceramic, with hand-washing recommended to protect the heat-reactive artwork. Netflix has also released several non-colour-changing mugs featuring other characters, including a Saja Boys edition ($11.71), a HUNTR/X edition ($18.32) and a "Golden Honmoon" design ($18.15) referencing the film's Oscar-winning, chart-topping song "Golden". All are officially licensed, dishwasher- and microwave-safe (aside from the Derpy mug) and come in purple gift boxes matching the film's branding.
