This handy Google Pixel feature can help solve annoying Android Bluetooth problems
Google’s Bluetooth Diagnostics tool gives eligible Pixel owners a more structured way to identify Bluetooth faults before resorting to device resets or repeated re-pairing. It matters because Bluetooth problems can affect specific functions, such as music, calls or Android Auto, without making the underlying cause clear.
Available on Pixel 6 and newer models, including Fold devices, the feature is found in Settings > Connected devices and runs tests for media audio, calls and other connection issues. It cannot fix faulty hardware, outdated accessory firmware or incompatibility, and Google still recommends standard troubleshooting steps; users should also note that optional diagnostic sharing may include device details, test results and Bluetooth interaction data.
- Pixel Diagnostics helps isolate Bluetooth connection faults.
- It supports Pixel 6 and newer phones.
- Optional reports may contain sensitive device data.
