Google unveils $1,899 Pixel 11 Pro Fold

Google has unveiled the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, a foldable flagship starting at $1,899 and due in shops on 20 August alongside the wider Pixel 11 range. It is $100 more expensive than its predecessor, but Google is positioning it as a lighter, thinner and more durable alternative to conventional large-screen phones.
The handset has an 8-inch internal OLED display and a 6.5-inch outer screen, both claimed to reach 3,600 nits and be 20% brighter than before. It uses Google’s Tensor G6 processor, has an IP68 water-and-dust rating, and includes a triple rear camera system led by a 48MP main sensor; Google says the new sensor gathers 56% more light, while the Fold is nearly 10% lighter and 1mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
