Fans of both the band and the Resident Evil franchise quickly flooded social media with side-by-side comparisons, coining the nickname "Asa Wong" to capture the resemblance.

Asa shared the photos on BABYMONSTER's official Weverse community, prompting comments urging her to play Resident Evil 4 Remake or even cosplay as Ada. This is not the first time such comparisons have surfaced; similar photos in March showed her with a short bob and black choker reminiscent of Ada's look in Resident Evil 2 Remake. Asa has not publicly addressed the comparisons, and she is unlikely to portray the character on screen, as director Zach Cregger has confirmed his upcoming Resident Evil film, out this September, will not feature cameos from established game characters like Ada Wong.
