Push Square has previewed Pro Jank Footy, an arcade-style sports game based on Australian rules football, which has been announced for PS5 and is due to launch on 12th August 2026. The title stands out for layering chaotic, unpredictable power-ups onto the traditional sport, offering a lighter, less serious alternative in a genre often dominated by straightforward simulations.

The base game follows Aussie rules conventions, pitting two teams of 18 against each other with an oval ball on an oval pitch, but its main mode lets the conceding team pick one of over 150 power-ups after every goal, ranging from giant players and guaranteed shots to seagull interference and a third team joining the pitch. Players can also opt for a "Normal Footy" mode without power-ups, and choose between single-player against bots, local multiplayer, or online play, alongside a Season mode that pits players against increasingly absurd AI opponents using randomised abilities.
