Commentators have criticised visitors for appearing more focused on capturing photographs than on appreciating the mountain scenery, reigniting debate about overtourism at popular natural landmarks.

The footage, shared widely in recent weeks, depicts long lines of tourists waiting for shuttle buses to reach the iconic peaks. A separate viral clip from Positano on Italy's Amalfi Coast similarly showed tourists packed shoulder-to-shoulder along a narrow cliffside path, with experts pointing to tour groups, day-trippers and social media as key drivers of the overcrowding at both sites.
