Three men stabbed outside Liverpool LGBT+ venue as police investigate
Three men were stabbed during an altercation outside G-Bar, a prominent LGBT+ venue in Liverpool city centre, in the early hours of the morning. Police were called at approximately 6:35am and launched an investigation to identify the perpetrator, with the incident raising concerns within the community about safety at the venue.
The three victims were taken to hospital, with two in stable condition and a third sustaining only minor injuries. The suspected weapon has been recovered for forensic examination. Police are conducting CCTV, forensic and witness enquiries at the scene, with Detective Chief Inspector Lisa McNaughton appealing for information from anyone who witnessed or recorded the incident. An increased police presence has been deployed to the area whilst the investigation progresses.
