Danny Bowes, lead singer of British rock band Thunder, has unveiled plans for an upcoming spoken word tour titled "Under Pressure," scheduled to run from Glasgow in early April through late April 2026, concluding in London. The tour represents Bowes' second performance venture following a stroke in 2022 that sidelined him for months of recovery and rehabilitation, during which he lost the ability to sing.

Unlike conventional speaking tours, Bowes has chosen to make "Under Pressure" entirely dependent on audience questions, with no prepared remarks or structure. This format builds on an earlier series of eight interactive shows in 2025 called "Maximum Chat" that included live Q&A sessions. Bowes describes the decision as both a personal challenge and a necessity—driven by his lifelong experience as a performer and his desire to demonstrate that he could still command a stage despite the physical and cognitive demands of his recovery.
