Tim Curry, the actor celebrated for roles including Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, has died aged 80 in Los Angeles. His manager and friend Marcia Hurwitz announced the death on Wednesday; no cause was immediately given, although Curry had suffered a major stroke in 2012. Carol Burnett, Luke Evans, Rob Schneider and his Clue co-stars Michael McKean and Lesley Ann Warren were among those paying tribute, while Jillian Bell credited Curry with inspiring her to become an actor.
