Titans CEO apologizes to beleaguered fanbase after dreadful start to the season: ‘We’re sorry’

Tennessee Titans CEO Burke Nihill apologised to supporters after the team fell to 0-5, saying the club had let fans down and that football should be fun. His comments acknowledge the poor start and a longer spell of disappointing results as the franchise seeks to restore competitive football.

The Titans are averaging a league-low 11.6 points per game, while their defence is allowing 21.8, tied for 11th. Nihill backed head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Mike Borgonzi, saying they have the organisation’s support; the team has lost 33 of its past 39 games and won six since the start of 2023. It was due to face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
