A leaked advert suggests Ubisoft is preparing a Definitive Edition of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, ahead of the game's 10th anniversary next March. The find, spotted by a Reddit user on Wildlands' Xbox Game Hub, points to a native next-gen release, though it remains unclear whether this will be a proper remaster or simply a repackaged re-release, mirroring concerns raised by a similar Division re-release earlier this year.

The advert reportedly promises a new mission, 4K resolution, 60fps support, and all add-ons from Wildlands' two season passes, though no release date was given. A reported discount offer is said to expire on 7th August, notably one day after Ubisoft's planned Ghost Recon 25th-anniversary announcement on 6th August. According to Insider Gaming, Wildlands is among several legacy titles getting similar treatment, with Watch Dogs: Legion reportedly next in line. The Division's own Definitive Edition, launched in February, turned out to be just a bundle of the base game, DLC and cosmetics rather than a true remaster, fuelling scepticism over what Ubisoft's Wildlands edition will actually include.
