Warner Music Group has confirmed that Tom Corson will become its chief operating officer, while Armin Zerza has stepped down immediately as CFO and COO for personal reasons. The changes reshape WMG’s senior leadership during a period of growth and transformation, placing Corson in a group-wide operational role and leaving the company to recruit a new finance chief.

Corson, formerly co-chairman and COO of Warner Records, joined the label in 2018 and will report to WMG chief executive Robert Kyncl while working with Warner Records CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck during a transition. Zerza, who had overseen worldwide financial operations since May 2025, will assist until the end of the year; Lou Dickler, WMG’s global controller and chief accounting officer, becomes acting CFO.
