Tom Ellis Is Going Full ‘Lucifer’ Undercover in His New CBS Thriller Replacement

Tom Ellis’s CIA character, Colin Glass, will go undercover at a high-profile gala in the CBS thriller’s next episode, “Black Tie Optional”. The case gives Ellis a chance to draw on the charm associated with his former role in Lucifer, while the agents work to stop a threat involving stolen state secrets.

The episode, due to air next Monday, centres on a powerful investor sharing secrets with Korean operatives, prompting a mission to prevent a deadly invasion. It also advances the season’s separate story about FBI agent Bill Goodman’s father, as Bill faces troubling discoveries about his past. CIA pairs Glass, an impulsive CIA agent, with Goodman, a more methodical FBI agent.
