Tom Hanks & Kelli O’Hara Heading To Broadway Next Fall In ‘This World Of Tomorrow’
Tom Hanks and Kelli O’Hara will star in a limited Broadway run of *This World of Tomorrow* in autumn 2027. The production marks Hanks’ return to Broadway more than 14 years after his Tony-nominated performance in *Lucky Guy*.
Written by Hanks and James Glossman and directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, the play is based on Hanks’ short stories. It follows Bert Allenberry, who repeatedly travels back to a day at the 1939 New York World’s Fair and discovers how love and personal choices shape the future. The play had a sold-out eight-week Off Broadway run at The Shed last year; the Broadway theatre, full cast and creative team are yet to be announced.
