Cinderella frontman Tom Keifer has cancelled the final three dates of his 2026 solo tour after suffering "a severe vocal muscle strain/injury" that left him completely unable to sing. The news continues a difficult run for the veteran rock singer, who had already been forced to postpone one of the affected shows weeks earlier due to sudden illness, and highlights the ongoing vocal difficulties he has faced since a past bout of vocal paresis during Cinderella's heyday.

The cancelled shows are a 30 July date at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania, a 1 August festival slot at Rock The Dam in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and a 3 August gig at Warehouse Live Midtown in Houston, Texas, which had itself already been rescheduled from 27 June. Keifer's manager, Tim Heyne, announced the cancellations on 29 July, advising ticket-holders to seek refunds via venues or ticket services. Keifer, best known as Cinderella's voice on albums including 1986's "Night Songs" and 1988's "Long Cold Winter", has spent recent years touring and recording with his solo Keiferband, and was reportedly still working on a follow-up to his 2019 album "Rise" as of last August.
