TOM MORELLO Announces ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want’ Album, Shares ‘Date Night’ Single
Guitarist and activist Tom Morello has announced his first solo rock album, "Everyone Gets Everything They Want", due out on 25 September via Mom + Pop Music. The record continues Morello's fusion of hard-hitting rock with political activism, addressing fascism, immigrant rights and global unrest, and features his fifteen-year-old son Roman as a co-writer on several tracks alongside guest appearances from Serj Tankian, Kneecap and Beartooth.
Alongside the announcement, Morello released a new single, "Date Night", which recounts the true story of three young Dutch women who worked as spies, saboteurs and assassins against the Nazis during the Second World War. Production on the album was handled by Tyler Smyth, Carl Restivo, Zakk Cervini, Dan Carey and Sam Nelson Harris. Morello, fresh from touring with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, will also play Louder Than Life in Louisville on 19 September and has curated the sold-out Power to the People festival in Maryland on 3 October, featuring artists including Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters and Public Enemy.
