Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has announced a new solo album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want, due for release on 25 September via Mom + Pop. The record continues a busy period for Morello, who has recently organised a benefit concert in Minneapolis, toured with the E Street Band as part of Bruce Springsteen's Land Of Hope & Dreams Tour, and is set to headline his own festival, Power To The People, near Washington DC this autumn.

The lead single, "Date Night", was released alongside the announcement and is described by Morello as telling the true story of three Dutch teenage girls who seduced and killed Nazi officers during the Second World War; the song's riff was written by his 15-year-old son, Roman Morello. The 12-track album also features guest appearances from Serj Tankian of System Of A Down, Irish rap trio Kneecap, and metal band Beartooth, and includes the previously shared track "Adjourn It".
