Tom Morello has announced his new solo album 'Everyone Gets Everything They Want', due for release on 25 September via Mom + Pop Music, alongside a new single, 'Date Night'. The Rage Against The Machine guitarist's record is billed as his first solo rock album and features politically charged collaborations, including with Irish rap trio Kneecap and Ohio metalcore band Beartooth, reflecting Morello's continued use of music to champion social justice causes.

The 12-track album includes 'Unconquered' with Kneecap and 'Everything Burns' with Beartooth, while System Of A Down's Serj Tankian and Morello's 15-year-old son Roman feature on 'Adjourn It', with Roman also holding writing credits on five songs. New single 'Date Night' tells the story of Dutch Second World War resistance fighters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen and Hannie Schaft, who sabotaged Nazi operations and helped Jewish children escape persecution before Schaft was captured and executed in 1945. Morello, who recently praised Kneecap as "the Rage Against The Machine of now" and drew criticism from Disturbed's David Draiman for doing so, will also host the sold-out Power To The People Festival in Maryland on 3 October, featuring acts including Bruce Springsteen and Foo Fighters, alongside further live dates across September and October.
