Tomb Raider: Catalyst has reportedly been delayed from 2027 to 2028, according to comments by Amazon Games head Jeff Gattis. The change means fans will wait longer for Lara Croft’s next wholly new adventure, while avoiding two major Tomb Raider releases in the same year.

Catalyst was announced in December 2025 as a new single-player action-adventure game set in northern India after a mythical cataclysm. It had been due alongside Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, but that remake was itself moved to 12 February 2027; no precise 2028 release date for Catalyst has been announced.
