Tommy Davidson & Tichina Arnold To Lead Family Comedy Feature ‘Search Party: Where’s Paw Paw?’
Tommy Davidson and Tichina Arnold will lead Search Party: Where’s Paw Paw?, a forthcoming PG-rated family comedy that has completed filming in Los Angeles. The film marks director Victoria Monai Richards’ feature debut and is intended as a colourful, early-2000s-inspired comedy for family audiences, with a cinema release expected this autumn.
Richards also co-wrote and stars as Noble Williams, a college student who returns home after hearing her grandfather’s health has worsened, only to discover he has disappeared from his care home. Joined by her two friends and her chaotic aunt, played by Arnold, she follows unusual clues to find him; Davidson plays PawPaw. The project is produced by Faith Plus Works Productions and The Harold Brothers, with Daisy Fernandez and Nijah Brenea also in the main cast.
