Nigerian-British artist Tommy WÁ has announced his third EP, "Hope Our Paths Cross," due for release on 21 August 2026. The record, his second for Dirty Hit, continues his folk-influenced sound while further exploring West African life and culture, and was written during what he describes as a personal crossroads, marking a shift from the communal themes of his earlier work.

Tommy has explained that the EP moves away from the "communal comfort" of his previous releases "Roadman," "Folks" and "Somewhere Only We Go," instead reflecting on adulthood, responsibility and identity, drawing on a Yoruba proverb about childhood friendships inevitably coming to an end. Alongside the announcement, he has released a new single, "Will You Wait?", described as an intimate exploration of love and self-discovery amid life's changes.
