Toni Collette & Karren Karagulian Among New Additions To Netflix’s Italian-Set Romantic Caper ‘Positano’ From Daniel Roher

Deadline · 17 hours ago

Netflix has expanded the cast of "Positano," a romantic caper film directed by Daniel Roher, adding Toni Collette, Karren Karagulian, Salvatore Esposito, Michele Savoia and Lorenzo de Moor. The Italian-set project already stars Matthew McConaughey and Zoe Saldaña and follows a jewel thief who abandons his comfortable life to help a mysterious woman pull off a lucrative heist, making this a notable expansion of an already starry ensemble.

The screenplay was written by Alessandro Tanaka and Brian Gatewood, who are also serving as executive producers alongside Amelia Granger and Katherine Pomfret, with Working Title's Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan producing the film together with Derrin Schlesinger. Character details for the five new additions have not been disclosed. Collette, known for "Hereditary," has upcoming roles in "Ibelin," "Fangs" and Netflix's "2034," while Karagulian, an Anora collaborator of Sean Baker's, will next appear in David Fincher's "The Adventures of Cliff Booth."
