Paramount has partnered with Advent Allen Entertainment to bring the Top Gun film franchise to the Las Vegas Strip, developing a 2.48-acre entertainment destination near Harry Reid International Airport and the iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign. The move reflects a wider trend of entertainment companies extending popular franchises into immersive, real-world experiences to capture growing consumer spending on entertainment beyond the cinema, and comes as a third Top Gun film is already in development with Tom Cruise and producer Jerry Bruckheimer attached.

The site at 4815 Las Vegas Blvd sits close to new stadium developments for the relocating Athletics baseball team and an incoming NBA arena. Dubbed Top Gun Vegas, the venue will feature the Hard Deck restaurant and bar from Top Gun: Maverick alongside further dining, retail and immersive experiences. The original 1986 film grossed almost $364 million worldwide, while its 2022 sequel Top Gun: Maverick took $1.49 billion globally and earned a Best Picture Oscar nomination, underlining the franchise's enduring commercial appeal.
