The winners of the International Aerial Photographer of the Year Awards have been announced, showcasing striking aerial images of nature from around the world. The competition drew 1,587 entries from photographers globally, highlighting the growing popularity of aerial and drone photography as a way of capturing landscapes and wildlife from unusual perspectives.

Azim Khan Ronnie won the overall title with an image of thousands of migratory Siberian seagulls feeding at Yamuna Ghat in India, while Vitaly Golovatyuk's shot of a bird on a clear, sky-reflecting lake surrounded by red grass in Dongtai, China, was named Photograph of the Year. Other notable entries included Kah-Wai Lin's third-placed image of Yilki horses in Cappadocia, Turkey, and Chin Leong Teo's photograph of a fisherman's yellow net. The use of AI was strictly forbidden, and the overall winner received $5,000, a trophy and publication alongside the top 101 entries in an annual awards book.
