TLC in the UK has commissioned a new Top Trumps-themed panel show, tentatively titled "Top Trumps: The Comedy Pack", to be hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, as part of a wider expansion of comedy programming on the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned channel. The announcement forms part of a broader comedy slate unveiled six months after TLC relaunched as a free-to-air entertainment channel, underlining the broadcaster's continued push to build out original comedy formats.

The Top Trumps format, produced by TalkbackThames with Naked, will pit team captains Joel Dommett and Jon Richardson against each other through card face-offs, studio challenges and bluffing games, with a launch pencilled in for early next year. Alongside this, TLC has ordered three further series of the revived panel show "Mock the Week", hosted by Dara Ó Briain, taking it through to a fifth season in 2027, while "Unacceptable", hosted by Ed Gamble, has been renewed for a second run following its launch last month. WBD is also expanding motoring content, with titles such as "The Race Mechanic" and "Richard Hammond's Workshop" heading to sister channel Quest.
