Tori Amos paid tribute to Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard by performing a cover of The Swell Season’s “Falling Slowly” at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion. The performance followed Hansard’s reported death in a motorcycle crash aged 56 and joined other tributes, including one from Bono.

Amos is touring in support of her May album, In Times Of Dragons. “Falling Slowly”, recorded by Hansard and Markéta Irglová in 2006, featured in the 2007 film Once and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2008 after also receiving a Grammy nomination.
