The reveal, made via Warhammer Community, offers an early hint at how such characters may function in the game, with Nazdreg described as a "key" figure tied to the pivotal early narrative battles around Armageddon, the war-torn world central to the 11th edition's story.

Nazdreg, leader of the Bad Moon Ork clan and a lieutenant of the prophet Ghazghkull Thraka, joins a growing roster of confirmed named characters including Ultramarines chapter master Marneus Calgar, Commissar Sebastian Yarrick and Ghazghkull himself. More reveals are expected, likely including further Space Marine, Astra Militarum and Aeldari figures given the latter's status as a launch faction, though it remains unclear whether higher-tier characters such as primarchs could appear, even briefly, as seen with Dawn of War 4.
