Tottenham close on deals for Manchester City’s Savinho and Omar Marmoush
Tottenham are in advanced negotiations to sign two Manchester City players this summer. Winger Savinho is on the verge of joining for £85m, whilst striker Omar Marmoush is expected to follow in a separate deal valued around £75m, combining for £160m in transfer fees.
Both players have struggled to secure regular playing time at City despite their investments. Savinho arrived at Manchester via loan spells at PSV and Girona but has been unable to break into the starting eleven, whilst Marmoush, signed for approximately £59m in January, has faced stiff competition from Erling Haaland for the striker role. The twin acquisitions would push Tottenham's summer expenditure under manager Roberto De Zerbi to nearly £387m, including earlier signings such as Sandro Tonali (£100m), Mateus Fernandes (£85m), and Jan Paul van Hencke (£52m).
