Tottenham in talks to sign Man City’s Savinho and Marmoush

BBC Sport · 3 hours ago

Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Manchester City over a potential double deal to sign forwards Savinho and Omar Marmoush, according to BBC Sport. Negotiations are said to be progressing, though no agreement has yet been reached, as Spurs boss Roberto de Zerbi looks to bolster his attack after the club's poor 17th-placed Premier League finish last season, in which they scored just 48 goals.

Brazilian winger Savinho, whom Spurs first showed interest in during 2025, joined City from Troyes for £30m but made only seven league starts last season and is now open to leaving. Marmoush, a £59m signing from Eintracht Frankfurt, fell out of favour under Pep Guardiola and managed eight goals in 36 appearances across all competitions. City's valuation of the pair is unclear but they would expect a significant profit on both. Spurs have already spent heavily this summer on Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, and remain interested in Liverpool's Cody Gakpo, though funding all three moves may be difficult.
