Disney has used the release of Pixar’s Toy Story 5 to support children receiving hospital treatment worldwide through its partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation. The initiative extends the film beyond box-office success by offering screenings, gifts and character-led experiences intended to provide comfort and enjoyment for patients and their families.

The film was made available in more than 400 children’s hospitals globally, including over 300 in the United States. Disney said it distributed more than 18,000 Toy Story 5-themed toys and 34,000 character-inspired hospital gowns, while messages from the Los Angeles premiere and visits from Woody and Jessie formed part of events in Washington, DC, Oakland and Orlando.
