Hasbro has released Spider-Man-themed editions of several of its best-known board games, timed to coincide with the box office run of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." The new versions of Monopoly, Connect 4, Yahtzee and Chutes & Ladders retain each game's classic mechanics while swapping in Spider-Man branding, characters and artwork, and several are currently discounted on Amazon and Walmart.

Connect 4: Marvel Spider-Man Edition pits Peter Parker against Miles Morales with red and black discs, while Chutes and Ladders lets players move as characters including Spider-Man, Venom and Green Goblin. A junior Yahtzee version themed around "Spidey and His Amazing Friends" targets younger fans, and Monopoly: Marvel Spider-Man replaces property trading with capturing supervillains, featuring six playable characters and film-inspired twists such as subway shortcuts and special-ability cards. Hasbro says demand has been strong, with retailers reporting thousands of recent purchases and high customer review scores.
