A 23-year-old man was found dead with significant injuries at the isolated Eschol Park property in Sydney’s south-west, known as Saturn’s Rings, and police are investigating whether dogs caused his death. The case has drawn attention because the striking but unfinished building has long been a local curiosity, associated with an ambitious spiritual movement rather than an ordinary home.

The property, also called the Universal Power House, was begun around 1979 by Polish immigrant Stefan Dzwonnik as the intended headquarters of his Universal Power World Society. Its three concentric levels were designed to resemble Saturn’s rings, with space for his family and the society, but it was never completed; authorities have established a crime scene and will prepare a report for the coroner.
