Travis Barker Reveals blink-182 Are Working on a New Album
Travis Barker has said blink-182 are working on their next album this year, indicating the band are moving forward with new material after their 2023 reunion record. The announcement matters because it would be the group’s tenth studio album and could extend the renewed collaboration between Barker, Mark Hoppus and returning guitarist Tom DeLonge.
Barker disclosed the project during a New York Times Popcast interview while promoting his Hulu documentary, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, which premieres on 13 August. He said he was “working on the next blink album” and confirmed it was being developed this year; Consequence suggests a 2027 release is therefore likely. The album would follow One More Time…, released in 2023 after DeLonge returned following an eight-year absence, and new songs may be heard around the band’s planned European dates in June 2027.
