Travis Scott Directs Visual for ‘Odyssey’ Song ‘When I’m Home’
Travis Scott has released a self-directed music video for “When I’m Home”, the end-credit song from Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. The release underlines Scott’s expanding role in film, following his acting debut in the production and his growing experience as a director.
The five-minute video features Scott alongside collaborators James Blake and Ludwig Göransson in a dark woodland setting, around a makeshift temple that becomes a fiery backdrop. The song was released on 17 July, while Scott said earlier this month that he directed the video; he previously directed Circus Maximus, the companion film to his 2023 album Utopia. His recent first-look deal with Paramount will allow him to develop film, television and theatre projects.
