Trey Songz Avoids Jail in Times Square Nightclub Fight Case

Billboard · 4 hours ago

Trey Songz has avoided jail after an alleged assault at a Times Square nightclub in 2025. A New York court sentenced the singer to a one-year conditional discharge for second-degree harassment, meaning he will face neither imprisonment nor probation if he remains law-abiding during that period.

He was initially accused of punching a man at DRAMMA nightclub and damaging more than $1,500 of property at Mira hookah lounge in separate Manhattan incidents. Prosecutors dropped the felony criminal-mischief charge after his lawyer argued others caused the damage; following mental health treatment and compliance with court conditions, Songz was allowed to withdraw an earlier misdemeanour assault plea and remain convicted only of a non-criminal harassment violation.
