Trump Media, owner of Truth Social, plans to sell Wall Street firms rapid access to influential posts through a new paid data feed. The service could matter because Donald Trump’s posts, particularly on trade and tariffs, can quickly affect financial markets, and traders may pay to receive them before rivals.

Called Truth API, the service is due to launch on 1 August and promises delivery in milliseconds, around the clock, although prices have not been disclosed. Trump Media says it will block unauthorised data copying, while concerns have been raised that the president could benefit financially if his posts are included, given his family’s majority stake in the company.
